“Private Equity Fund-Growth” and “Etem Gestamp” concluded a direct long-term contract for the purchase and sale of green energy from a newly constructed solar plant. It will be commissioned in autumn 2022 and will produce around 4 GWh of electricity per year.
The transaction structuring consultant is “Elnova”, a consulting company and licensed electricity trader whose activity is focused on developing sustainable energy solutions according to the individual needs of its clients.
The parties to the contract are “Equity Investment Fund – Growth” – an investor in RES projects for the production of electricity, and “Etem Gestamp” – one of the leading European producers of extruded aluminum profiles and components for the automotive industry.
For a period of 10 years, Etem Gestamp will buy and use the energy from the solar plant at a fixed price and will receive the issued guarantees of origin certifying that the energy is 100% green.
