RE-Source Southeast Hub is a regional platform for cooperation between renewable energy producers and energy consumers.
The platform was created as a result of the signed memorandum for cooperation and promotion of the corporate supply of renewable energy in Bulgaria, and in a broader aspect in Southeast Europe, between the Association for Production, Storage and Trading of Electricity (APSTE), the Bulgarian Wind Energy Association (BGWEA) and the leading European forum for corporate use of renewable energy RE-Source.
Оur mission is to become a leading forum for corporate renewable energy sourcing for Southeast Europe as an associate partner of RE-Source platform.
The RE-Source Platform was founded in Brussels in June 2017 as an alliance of stakeholders representing clean energy buyers and suppliers. The Platform pools resources and coordinates activities to promote a better framework for corporate renewable energy sourcing at EU and national level.
The emerging regional centre for Southeast Europe aims to offer a business platform for the exchange of knowledge and information – for both buyers and suppliers of renewable energy and will work with policy-makers to support the successful energy transformation of the region through the implementation of new renewable energy projects at competitive prices.
APSTE is a non-profit organisation supporting the development and market integration of renewable energy and energy storage technologies in Bulgaria. The association mission is to create favourable regulatory and business environment for the energy sector in Bulgaria to reimagine itself and make the transition to a sustainable, carbon-free future.
BGWEA is a non-profit association providing support for wind energy and other renewable energy sources, working to improve the legislative, regulatory, political and public framework, promoting the dissemination of expertise on the use of wind energy in Bulgaria.
